History of Custom Home Builder Lake Crest Homes
It all began in 1989, when two industry professionals collaborated on what would be the first of many premium construction projects. Rob Nichols, who then managed the Saddlehorn Development south of Reno, joined with noted area builder Jim Smrt to design and construct a Saddlehorn sales office.
A year later, Rob and Jim launched Lake Crest Homes, with the vision of providing the highest-quality custom-built homes on the market. Since then, Lake Crest Homes has designed and many of the luxury homes in the Reno-Tahoe area.
Lake Crest's custom-built homes were very impressive, and before long, Rob and Jim had built a successful design-build company with a reputation for excellence.
